It has been a busy week here at The Rusty Pixel, as we have successfully completed our yearly training in Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) security awareness. Recertification is an annual requirement, and with a perfect 25/25 score, we have once again reaffirmed our status which we’ve consistently maintained since 2016.

CJIS, the largest division of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), sets the standard for data security in law enforcement. CJIS compliance is a vital benchmark, representing one of the most comprehensive and rigorous cybersecurity standards.

Emphasizing the human aspect of information security, security training plays a crucial role. This certification ensures that everyone with authorized access to Criminal Justice Information (CJI) is well-informed about their individual responsibilities and expected conduct when interacting with CJI and its processing systems. Our certification level is tailored for all IT personnel, including system administrators, security experts, and network administrators.
